It was like a dream comes true when I got a call from Yayasan Terengganu to inform me that I was offered to receive the scholarship to further study in Medicine. It is very hard for me to accept the offer since I already study in International Islamic University Malaysia. I already make a few friends there. So, if I accept the offer I have to start from the begining. I have to make new friends. Thinking about my parents' wish that they want me to be a doctor, I accepted the offer. So, I began to be TATI UC student. Luckily, I have a friend from my secondary school there. So, on the first day I already have a friend. I only talked to her. That's what makes people think I am arrogant.
People who does not know me always say I am quite arrogant and do not care about other people and I could not agree more because what they are thinking of me are undeniable. I do not like to approach someone that I do not know. However, when I am close to someone I will be a very talkative and friendly person. So, I'm trying my best to change my personality.
English is the subject that I really do not like since secondary school. So I bear in my mind to improve my English before I enter the university. In order to achieve my dreams to be a doctor I need to comprehend my problem with English. Firstly, I tried to read an English novel. My first novel took 1 month to finish it even the novel is very thin. Then, I started to listen English songs. I barely playing the song from the music player before but the new me really love to listen to English song.
'Sometimes tend to be never.'
That words keep singing in my mind after I read a book during my last semester break. I keep in my mind that I should change this semester. No matter what happen by hook or by crook I have to change. Last semester I use to postpone my assignment to be done at the eleventh hour. Besides, I always studied last minute for exam and any test. I hope this semester I will change myself and be more hardworking.
May Allah ease your journey for the new semester and forward. I will support you till the end of the day:)
